Known around the world as the paddle sport industry's top whitewater event, the Reno River Festival returns to kick off northern Nevada's special events season, May 7-9, 2010 at the Truckee River Whitewater Park in the heart of downtown Reno, Nev. The 7th annual event is set to celebrate its largest production ever with three days of pure fun in the sun ranging from the down and dirty debauchery of the 3rd annual Run Amuck fun run and action-packed Boatercross competition to the Holland Project's Double Dutch Battle and the ever-popular freestyle kayaking competition featuring the world's top whitewater athletes. Adding to the Festival's already enviable schedule of events is the fierce three-and-a-half-mile Stand Up Paddle Board Competition and the Humans in Motion short video contest featuring a $1,000 grand prize.
