So, you're planning your next multi-day of the year, and all signs point to nothing short of an unforgettable trip. Except one aspect: You've graduated from cans of PBR, but you don't know what else to take for an apre-paddling buzz. Cascade Designs, based out of Seattle, has a solution.

Try wine. You no longer have to worry about it going bad.

Cascade Designs, which became famous in the late 1990s for its Platypus hydration system, has developed the PlatyPreserve, a lightweight, flexible bottle that's easy to pack and perfect to take to places you don't want to risk breaking glass. The PlatyPreserve eliminates oxygen with a squeeze of the bottle before putting the cap on, thereby preserving the contents. It also protects the wine from UV light exposure through the bottle. Each PlatyPreserve holds 27 ounces, so the recommendation here is to buy a four-pack. I mean, let's be honest ...
Price: $12.95 (single), $44.95 (4-pack).
