The 13-month, 39,400-mile bio-ride of Seth Warren and Tyler Bradt didn’t end April 2007 at the edge of the world in Ushuia, Argentina.

After a hiatus, it continued on to Los Angeles December 14, where the gospels of green energy won the Best Picture in the Jules Verne Adventure Film Festival for their documentary film of the tour.

Warren and Bradt also won the Youth Jury Award.

“When we set out to make this film, we just wanted to tell a good story and spread the word about living a sustainable lifestyle,” says Warren, a co-founder of the Biofuels Education Coalition. “We never imagined we would get so much attention. We feel so honored to receive this kind of recognition.”

The movie, titled humbly: Oil + Water Project Documentary Film, also won Best Environmental Film at the Taos Mountain Film Festival, Jury Special Prize at the Kendal Mountain Film Festival, and the Daniel DeLavergne Spirit Award at the Asheville Film Festival.

It is also an official selection at the Vancouver International Film Festival, the Wild and Scenic Film Festival, the Durango Film Festival, and the Carbondale Film Festival.
